FAQ

What can Magnesium Oil be used for?

Clinical studies show that Magnesium deficiency in the body can lead to cramping, sore muscles, headaches, high blood pressure, insomnia and irritability. Topical Magnesium rapidly absorbs into the skin, offering fast moisturizing relief.

What are the ingredients?

Topical Quicare® Magnesium products are made from natural magnesium chloride flakes sourced from mineral-rich Dead Sea brine.  Available as Topical Sprays, Lotions and Gels, ingredients such as Aloe Vera or MSM (methysulfonylmethane), provide added moisturizing value depending on the formulation you choose.

How do you use it?

All Quicare® Magnesium products are topical and applied directly on the skin, then rubbed in for Fast Acting relief.  Our Topical Spray helps to provide the fastest pain relief, while our Lotion helps with the longest lasting relief, and the Gel is in between.

The best of both worlds!  Some users recommend applying the Topical Spray first to provide immediate relief, and then later applying the lotion for continued relief.

Quicare® Shower Scrub stimulates the skin while gently massaging your skin and Bath Soak provides relaxing opportunity to let the day’s worries just float away. We’ve created many different Essential Oil formulations, created to meet your every need, to enhance your relaxation experience!

Try one - Try them all!

How does it work?

Magnesium ions are absorbed through the skin, passing the skin’s protective barrier.  Research at The University of Queensland in Australia, published in 2016, found that hair follicles help the magnesium permeate the skin.

Patent Pending Formula - Thanks to our technological advances after five years of extensive research and testing, we’ve developed a patent pending Skin Sensitivity Technology that eliminates, or in some cases largely reduces, the common burning/stinging that usually occurs with other brands when applied on the skin. We are confident that our Quicare® Magnesium products are the finest quality you can find.

Is it possible to use too much?

Although it is very unlikely that you could use too much Topical Magnesium, it is recommended that the products be reapplied once every 4 hours, as needed.

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects of Topical Magnesium.

Avoid use of Quicare® Magnesium products near mucous membranes (eyes and nose) as the salts can cause irritation.

Use of Quicare® Magnesium products on open wounds or broken skin may cause discomfort.  It is recommended that the Soaks be used until the skin has healed, before applying more concentrated formulations of the Topical Spray, Lotion or Gel.

Some users have described the Topical Spray as having a sticky feeling after it’s been on their skin for a while.  If you find this to be the case, simply rinse it off.  Relief usually occurs during the first 10 – 20 minutes.  Leaving it on for as long as possible optimizes the benefit.

Are the ingredients natural?

Quicare® Magnesium ingredients are natural.

Where is the product made?

Quicare® Magnesium products are American-made in our GMP and OU Kosher certified facility located In National City, California, USA.

Providing innovative products with the highest level of quality is our goal. Our products are manufactured under ISO 22716 Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Cosmetics.  Our ingredients are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).

How is this different from Epsom Salts?

The molecular structure of magnesium chloride is much more easily absorbed into the body than Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate).  Fast Acting Quicare® Magnesium products are made with Magnesium Chloride flakes from mineral-rich Dead Sea brine.
